Cheran’s care for ‘child’

We read a week back that Cheran held a special screening of ‘Yudham Sei’ for his online friends in Chennai and the actor-director donated proceedings collected from the show for a noble cause.

Now we have more details about what Cheran did. He presented the amount to ‘Child’, a home in Korattur, a northern suburb of Chennai, which takes care of children whose parents are either no more or affected by AIDS.

“I was able to collect Rs 37,000 from the show and donated it to Child. I am thankful to all my online friends for staying in touch with me and for their valuable contribution,” says Cheran.

Happy about the rave reviews his performance in ‘Yudham Sei’ received, he says, “Playing a police officer is totally new to me and I am satisfied with the outcome. Thanks to Mysskin and other members of the team.”
